She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary DiGivanna Troy George, a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and attended Scranton schools. She was a member of the CB Radio Club and prior to retirement worked in the local garment industry.

She was a loving and caring sister, aunt, godmother, daughter and wife who will be deeply missed.

Surviving are a sister, Sarah Bellon, Scranton; two brothers, Norman Troy, West Point, NY and Joseph Troy, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by; three sisters Lucy Reuther, Marguerite Reuther and Frances Kraynick; two brothers Frank Troy and her twin brother Phillip George.

The Funeral Mass will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church., 630 Genet Street, those attending Mass are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, Italian American Cemetery, Scranton.

There will be no public viewing hours. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to The Hospice Community Care, 601 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704-3701.
