Deborah E. Ross Buntz

Deborah E. Ross Buntz, 55, a long time resident of Dalton, died early Sunday
morning at home after a long term illness. She
and her husband Mark Buntz celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary
on January 3, 2008.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Richard D. and Delores Reese
Ross. She was a graduate of Lackawanna
Trail High School and a member of the Hickory Street Baptist Church; she was
devoted to her church and active in all church activities.
She enjoyed crafts; flea markets, antiquing and her tea pot, wall pocket and
McCoy pottery collections. She loved all of her five St. Bernard Dogs they had
throughout the years.
Also surviving is her daughter, Heather Burke and her husband Martin, Scranton;
a grandson, Joseph Burke, Scranton; a sister Karen Ross, Scranton; a brother,
Mark Ross and his wife Karen, Glenburn; three aunts, Rhoda Thomas, Scranton,
Margaret Staff, Tunkhannock and Lydia Ross, Dalton; many nieces, nephews and
cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Ross Jr.; a sister, Michelle
Myers.
The funeral will be Wednesday with Services at 11:00 a.m. in the Miller Bean
Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue. Interment,
Dalton Shoemaker Cemetery, Dalton.
