Kathlyn P. Beck

Kathlyn P. Beck, 94, a
resident of Scranton since 1959, died early Friday morning in the Community
Medical Center after a brief illness. She
was the Widow of Jay B. Beck who died December 26, 1977.
She was born in Brownstown, the daughter of the late William and Agnes A. Collins Eby. She was a graduate of Terre Hill High School, Lancaster County and a member of the former Simpson United Methodist Church, the Woman’s Circle, Woman’s Society and the Church Choir.
Surviving are a son, Randy
Jay Beck, Scranton; a daughter, Sandra Wetter, Dunmore; two grandchildren, Susan
Wilga and her husband Pete, Scranton, Sharon Davey, Dunmore; three great
grandchildren, Dylan Davey, Ryan Davey and Jonathan Wilga; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death
by a sister, Ruth Rerick; four brothers, Carl Eby, Clarence Eby, Mark Eby and
Paul Eby.
The funeral will be Monday
at 11 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with
services by the Rev. Ken Bitler, Pastor of the Dunmore United Methodist Church.
Interment, Fairview Memorial Park,
Elmhurst.
