
Mary Ann Bauer

Mary Ann Bauer, 68, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Friday evening
in the Moses Taylor Hospital Intensive Care Unit after an illness.
She and her husband, William M. Bauer,
were married for 47 years.
She was born on October 29, 1940 in Scranton, the daughter of the late
Felix and Margaret Nawrocki Drazba. She
was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church, attended Scranton public schools
and was a graduate of South Catholic High School.
Prior to retirement she was employed by Scranton Grinder and Hardware.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and trips to Atlantic
City with her husband.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Doctor Henry
Yeager, Dr. Terrance P. Lenahan, all the nurses and staff at the Moses Taylor
Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their wonderful care and compassion.
Also surviving are a son, William “Chip” Bauer and his wife Sharon,
Scranton; two daughters, Deborah Stefonetti, Scranton, Lisa Bauer, Dalton; a
brother, Robert Drazba and his wife Suzanne, Brownstown; four grandchildren,
Amee Stefonetti, Anthony Stefonetti, Alyssa Bauer, Paige Bauer; a niece and two
nephews.
The Funeral and Committal services will be private at the convenience of
the family. There will be no public
calling hours.
