Thomas G. Davis, 64, a resident
of Fleetville, a former resident of Scranton, died early Thursday morning in the
Community Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He and his wife the former Joyce E. Rusch would have celebrated their 39th
wedding anniversary on October 2nd.
He was born on May 5, 1944 in
Scranton, the son of Josephine Paruzynski Plisko, Scranton and the stepson of
the late Andrew Plisko. He served in
the U.S. Army and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Dunmore.
Prior to his illness he worked for Northeastern Envelope, Old Forge.
He was a very loving and caring
family man and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Also surviving are a son, Thomas
G. Davis, Jr. and his wife Kelly A., Scranton; a daughter, Anita A. Davis,
Fleetville; a sister, Josephine Doyle, Gouldsboro; two grandchildren, Cole T.
Davis and Adam J. Taylor; a niece, Patricia Doyle, Gouldsboro.
The funeral will be Monday at 10
am in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services by
Chaplain Helen McCullough, Pastoral Care, Community Medical Center. Interment,
Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
