Ulysses Timmons
Sr., 84, died Tuesday morning in the Mercy Hospital.
His wife the former Leola Mitchell died
in 1995.
He was born in
Sumter County, GA, the son of the late Willis and Julia Johnson Timmons.
Surviving are
three sons, James Timmons and his wife Ann, Edison, NJ, Ulysses Timmons Jr.,
Scranton, and the Reverend Willie C. Timmons, Elizabeth, NJ; a daughter in law,
Janet Timmons, Elizabeth, NJ; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in
death by a son, Arthur Timmons.
Funeral Services
will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Shiloh Baptist Church, 915 North Washington
Avenue, Scranton, by the Reverend Reginald D. McClain, Pastor.
Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
