Michael Buskovitz Sr., 72, a lifelong resident of Scranton died early Thursday
afternoon in the VNA Inpatient Hospice at Community Medical Center after an
illness. His wife, the former Judith
Winans, died December 14, 2004.
He
was on born December 28, 1936 in Scranton, the son of the late Anna Demetrician
Chomycz and the stepson of the late Wasyl “Bill” Chomycz.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army, a member of
the Fraternal Order of Police E.B. Jermyn Lodge #2 and a retired member of the
Scranton Police Department. After
retiring he had been employed as an essential associate with the Miller Bean
Funeral Home, Inc. He will be greatly
missed by those at Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc.
Surviving are his children,
Michael and his wife Nancy, Mark, Lisa Michaels, a stepson, John Miers; three
grandchildren, Michael III, Vince and Dana.
