Salvatore Ingiaimo, very well know as, “Sal the Barber”, 81years of age, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died early Sunday morning in the Mercy Hospital shortly after his arrival. He and his wife Dolores Ingiaimo celebrated their 52^nd wedding anniversary on January 14^th, 2009.

He was born in Scranton, the son of the late Frank and Grace Talutto Ingiaimo. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Army and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Prior to retirement he was a self employed barber his entire working career.

Also surviving are his son and caretaker, Sal Ingiaimo Jr. and his wife Misty, Charlotte, NC; two sons, Benjamin Ingiaimo and Joseph Ingiaimo; a brother, Frank Ingiaimo and his wife Margie, Scranton; two granddaughters, Cierra and Leandra. Nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue. Funeral Services will be held private at the family’s convenience.
