AnnMarie Lucke, a longtime resident of Dunmore, died early Monday morning
at home after a brief illness. She and
her husband Rowland P. “Butch” Lucke Jr. would have celebrated their 29th
wedding anniversary on August 29, 2009.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Donato and Angela
Santerangelo Ferrone. She was a
member of Saint Anthony of Padua church, Dunmore and a graduate of Dunmore High
School Class of 1974.
She loved sports and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.
She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Also surviving are four sons, Rowland G. “Butch” Lucke and his fiancée
AnnMarie Hammond, Scranton, Joseph A. Lucke and his fiancée Crystal Borie,
Scranton, Robert M. Lucke and his fiancée Tiffany Price, Dunmore, Phillip A.
Lucke and his fiancé Tanya Kelly, Dunmore; two daughters, Laura A. Lucke,
Scranton and Angela M. Lucke, Dunmore; six grandchildren, John Christopher
Lucke, Tyler James Lucke, Haley Marie Lucke, Tait Joseph Rivera, Emma Helen
Lucke and Phillip A. Lucke Jr.; two brothers, John Ferrone, Cape Coral, FL,
Joseph Ferrone, Lakeland, FL; a sister, Luanne Kromko, Orlando, FL; nieces,
nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amy Lou Lucke and a
grandson, Joshua Lucke.
The Funeral will be Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral
Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua,
300 Smith Street, Dunmore. Private
cremation service will follow at the Maple Hill Crematory, Hanover Township.
