
Theresa Pauline Dillard

Theresa Pauline Dillard, 72, a resident of Scranton, died Sunday
afternoon in the Moses Taylor Hospital Intensive Care unit after a lengthy
illness.
She was born in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of the late Theodore
Scott, the late Theresa Dixon Scott Keeton and the stepdaughter of the late
Howard Keeton. She was member of the
Shiloh Baptist Church, Scranton and prior to retirement was employed by the
Bankers Trust, Manhattan New York as a manager in Coupon Collections.
She taught Sunday school for many years, she had a love for children and
youth spending a lot of time working with trouble and confused youth, believing
every child regardless of race, creed or religion should have the opportunity to
succeed and shine. She will be greatly
missed by her daughter, son in law, family, friends and anyone whose life she
touched.
Surviving is a daughter, Linda Glover and her husband Lee, Scranton; ten
grandchildren, Charise Jenkins, Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Wright, Charlotte, NC,
Krystal Glover, Scranton, Lee Glover III, Scranton, Kristopher Glover, Scranton,
Monique, Jayshine, Christian, Mackenzie and Brianna; eight great grandchildren,
Shawn, Jacob, Javon, Justin, Keyona, Dayvion, Jase, and Jaelyn.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral
Home, Inc., with services at 11 a.m. in the Shiloh Baptist Church, 915 North
Washington Avenue, Scranton. Interment
will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
