Albert William Dunkes Sr.

Albert William Dunkes Sr., 45, a resident of
Scranton, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died Tuesday morning at home after a brief
illness. His
wife is the former Becki Myers.
He was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of Arthur and
Lila Crone Dunkes Sr., Baltimore, MD.
He had been employed as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife and parents he is also
survived by two sons, Albert William Lankford Jr., Ethan Charles Lankford; two
daughters, Shannon Marie Lankford, Ashley Nicole Dunkes-Lankford, all of
Baltimore, MD; two stepchildren, Akeyla Biesecker and Robert “Sponge” Biesecker,
both of Montrose; two brothers, Arthur Marvin Dunkes Jr., Allen Michael Dunkes,
both of Baltimore, MD; a sister Mary Lee Smith, Red Lion; three grandchildren,
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a nephew Robert Earl
Smith Jr. who died June 22, 2009.
There will be no public calling hours.
Funeral
services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
