
Mary Louise Hielscher

Mary Louise Hielscher, 69, a longtime resident of Salisbury Township,
died Tuesday morning at home after an illness. She
and her husband Frank H. Hielscher would have celebrated their 47th
wedding anniversary on June 22, 2010.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Chester and Madeline
S. Miller Armbrust. She was a graduate of
Drexel University, Class of 1962, earning the Bachelors of Science degree in
Home Economics, and a graduate of the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign, Class of 1965, earning the Master of Science degree in Home
Economics. She was a Home Economics
teacher at Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem, retiring in 2001 after 27 years
of service. The Broughal Middle School
Band and Orchestra held a special place in her heart.
Also surviving are two sisters Clara Armbrust, Scranton, Madeline M.
Armbrust, Scranton; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Armbrust and Robert K.
Armbrust.
The funeral and interment were held privately at the convenience of the
family.
