Jeffrey Scott Lewis, 57, a lifelong resident of
Scranton died Monday afternoon after a lengthy illness.
He
was the widower of the former Mary Ellen Niemic who died in 1998.
He was born in Scranton, the son of the late Rodney
Raymond and Lorraine Staub Lewis, a graduate of Scranton Technical High School
Class of 1971 and a former member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church.
Prior to his illness he had been employed as a truck
driver.
Surviving is a niece, Becki Dunkes, Scranton.
He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Lewis
and a sister Lorraine Mae Lewis.
