Ann Perotti

        Ann Perotti, 70, a resident of the Tripp Park area since 2004, a former resident of South Scranton, died Wednesday afternoon in the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit at Community Medical Center after a brief illness.

        She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve Shelski Krushinsky.  She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1957, employed by the Econo Lodge, The Lackawanna Station Hotel and retired from Astro Warehouse.

        She was a loving mother, Nana, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all.  She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, shopping and spending time with her two cats Nikita and Mia.

        Surviving are two daughters Dawn Bickerstaff and her husband J.D., Jacksonville, FL, Jean Price and her husband Martin, Scranton; two sons, Francis Heen and his wife Caroline, South Abington Twp, Stanley Krushinsky and his wife Carey, Ransom; four brothers, 1st Sergeant Joseph W. Shelski, (retired), Scranton,  Frankie Krushinsky, Scranton, Stanley Krushinsky, Scranton, John Krushinsky, Wilkes-Barre; two sisters, Barbara Rooney, Scranton and Elizabeth Henderson, Scranton; six grandchildren, Joe Bickerstaff, Carly Bickerstaff, Luke Bickerstaff all of Jacksonville, FL, Rebecca Price, Scranton, Cory Stewart, South Abington Township, Bailey Cooper, South Abington Township; nieces and nephews.

        She was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl Heen; a brother, Eddie Krushinsky.

        Cremation services took place at Maple Hill Crematory.  A memorial mass to honor her life will be celebrated Saturday May 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 800 Taylor Avenue, Scranton.  The Family will greet friends from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.

        Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice and Home Health of Lackawanna County, 301 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant, PA 18447.
