David J. Englert Jr., 45 a resident of Moosic, a former resident of Lake Ariel
died Monday night in the Community Medical Center, as a result of injuries
sustained from an ATV accident. Surviving
is his best friend and loving companion of 27 years, Kim Phillips, Moosic.
He was born in Scranton, the son of David J. and Joann Noble Englert, Lake
Ariel. He attended Western Wayne
High School and had served with the US Army.
He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and
friend. He enjoyed playing horseshoes,
volleyball, riding ATV’s, truck driving and he lived life to the fullest.
Also surviving are three daughters, Nicole M. Englert and her companion Miles
Angerson, Throop, Alysha L. Englert, Moosic, Emily R. Englert, at home; a
granddaughter, Ryleigh Ann Angerson, Throop; a brother, John Englert and his
wife Debbie, Lake Ariel; three sisters, Michele Estus and her companion John
Evans, Lake Ariel, Lori Bieber and her husband George, Moosic, Cynthia Howe and
her husband Tom, Lake Ariel; maternal grandmother, Clara Reider Noble, Scranton;
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home,
Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services by the Reverend Arthur W. Davis, pastor of
the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Cremation will be private at Maple Hill Crematory, Hanover Township.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
