Marvin W. Wyandt, 60, a resident of Moosic, formerly a long time resident
of the East Mountain section of Scranton, died Sunday morning after a brief
illness.
He was born in Scranton the son of the late Marvin R. and Madeline
“Peggy” Grogan Wyandt. He was a
graduate of Scranton Technical High School Class of 1967 and had served in the
United States Army Reserves with the 365th engineers unit.
He had worked for many years in his
family business the former Printcraft Card Company and was currently employed by
the Craft Oil Corporation, Avoca.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
His greatest joy was spending time with
his children and grandchildren. He
enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are daughter, Charisse D. Kimble and her husband Damon, Moosic;
a son, Marc J. Wyandt, Old Forge; three sisters, Marlyn Benjamin, Springbrook
Township, Evelyn Bowen, South Abington Township, Barbara Langan and her husband
Thomas, Archbald; two grandchildren, Sasha Kimble and Alex Kimble, both of
Moosic; former wife and friend, Donna Wyandt, Moosic; nieces, nephews and
cousins.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Reginald “Reggie” Grayek, III; two
brother in laws, George Benjamin and Barry Bowen.
The funeral Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean
Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue.
Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
