
Florence Klimaitis

Florence Klimaitis, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Thursday
morning in the Community Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was the widow of Edward J. Klimaitis
Sr., who died October 5, 1997.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lottie
Rzoncki Ellard. She was a member of
the Moosic Assembly of God Church, educated in Scranton Public schools and prior
to retirement was employed for 25 years by Sonny Styles.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt; who adored and cherished
each one of her family and friends. She
was a free spirit who was sunshine in the lives of those who knew her.
She loved Jesus and now is in heaven with
Jesus and her loved ones.
Surviving are a son, Edward J. Klimaitis Jr., and his wife Lisa,
Mountaintop; three sisters, Delores Leoncini, Scranton, Gladys Skiscim, Dunmore
and Emily Liparulo, Binghamton, NY; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Ellard and a sister,
Evelyn Moxen.
The funeral will be on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home,
Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services by the Reverend David O’Brien, Pastor of
the Moosic Assembly of God Church. Interment
will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
