Jane F. Kuhn Noll

        Jane F. Kuhn Noll, 76, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died early Thursday morning in the Mountain View Care Center after a lengthy illness.  She was the widow of William J. Noll who died June 30, 2009.

        She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Herbert and Loretta Forster Kuhn.  She was a graduate of St. Mary of the Assumption High School Class of 1952, a member of St. Eulalia Church and a former member of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church where she was treasurer of the Altar and Rosary for twenty-one years.  She was a member of Nativity Golden Age, St. Mary’s after 50 Club, the Monday Night Shuffleboard League and the Tuesday Night Card Club.  Prior to retirement she raised many children besides her own through her home daycare.

        She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and babysitter who will be dearly missed.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking for others and was always there to help anyone in need.

        The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Mountain View Care Center.

        Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Arzie and her husband Mark, Scott Township, Jane Ann Pattison and her husband Tom, Scranton; three sons, William Noll and his wife Kathy, Justus, Kenneth Noll and wife Lois, Spring brook, Thomas Noll and wife Kristen, Scranton; a sister, Dolores Kuhn Steinmetz and her husband Joseph, Poway, CA; a brother in law, Carl Graf, Middlesex, NJ; nine grandchildren, Keith Noll, Rebecca Noll, Colleen Noll, Kenny Noll, Thomas Noll, Amelia Noll, Jonathan Noll, Mark Arzie, Michael Arzie; nieces, nephews and cousins.

        She was preceded in death by a sister Marie Ann Kuhn Graf, who died July 10, 2010.

        The funeral will be Monday in Saint Eulalia’s Church, 214 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Township with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.  Those attending the funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church.  Interment will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Covington Township.

        Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, Scranton.  Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to The Mountain View Care Center, 2309 Stafford Avenue Scranton, PA  18505-3691 or to Saint Eulalia Church, 241 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Township, PA 18444-7616 or to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA   18702-7950.
