Helen H. Gardner

Helen H. Gardner, 81, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Wednesday
afternoon in the Northeast PA Hospice Unit at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth O.
Maynard Hadad. She graduated from
Keystone Junior College with an Associate痴 degree in Business Administration
and prior to retirement was employed by the Pennsylvania State University at the
Worthington Campus.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen L. O誰eil and her husband Carl, Scranton;
four grandchildren, Jaymee O誰eil, Katie O誰eil, Carl J. O誰eil and Candice
O誰eil.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth O誰eil.
The funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family,
with services by the Reverend Kathleen E. Jamhoury, interim pastor of the
Providence United Presbyterian Church.
Interment will be private in the Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
