Elizabeth L. Santos

Elizabeth L. Santos, 86, a lifelong resident of South Scranton, formerly of
Neptune Place, died Thursday morning in the Golden Living Center after a brief
illness.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hornyak
Santos. She attended Saint Mary High
School and is a member of the Saint John Neumann Parish.
Surviving are two brothers, Joseph J. Santos, Scranton, Carl A. Santos and his
wife Doris, Hobart, Indiana; two nephews, Joseph Santos and his wife Nora,
Laflin, John Santos and his wife Lisa, Scranton; great nieces, great nephews and
cousins.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Robert M. Santos and a niece, Margaret
“Maggie” Miller Youngblood.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc.,
436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Nativity of Our
Lord Church, 633 Orchard Street, Scranton. Interment
will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, South Scranton.
