Sherry Lynn Keller, 44, a lifelong resident of Scranton died Friday, at home.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the William F. and Marjorie A. Fenton
Keller Sr., Scranton. She was a member of
the Church of the Good Shepherd, a graduate of Scranton Technical High School
Class of 1985, a member of the 20th Ward Social and Athletic Club,
and the Waldorf Park German American Federation club.
She was a donor to and supportive of
PanCAN, Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the United Way and Help for
Hospitalized Veteran’s. She was
employed at Scranton Counseling Center since 1985.
She loved being surrounded by her family and friends; she will be deeply missed
as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
She was an avid reader, bowler and
enjoyed crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, surviving are two sisters, Sharon A. Dietz and her
husband Stewart, Peckville, Marji A. Keller, Scott Township; a brother, James A.
Keller and his wife Kelly, Scranton; seven nieces and nephews; five great nieces
and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; her closest friends, Cindy
Dunleavy Ozack and her husband James, Margaret Thompson and Patty Ludwikowski.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Frank and Margaret Craig
Keller; maternal grandparents, Russell L. and Marjorie E. Knott Fenton, Sr.; a
brother William F. Keller Jr., and a niece Kayden Marie Keller.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Good
Shepherd, at the corner of North Washington Avenue and Electric Street,
Scranton, with services by the Reverend Dan Jones.
There will be no public calling hours and interment will be held private
at the convenience of the family.
