Frank J. Gard

Frank J. Gard, 94, a
longtime resident of Daleville, died early Friday morning.
His wife the former Jean Hartman died May
27, 1976.
He was born in Scranton,
the son of the late Frank J. and Louise Reidenbach Gard.
Prior to retirement he worked for H.B. Sproul Construction for over 40
years.
The family would like to
say thank you to Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli and the staff at Mountain View Care
Center for their kindness and wonderful care.
Surviving are a son,
Charles F. Gard, Dalton; a daughter, Maribeth Gwynne and her husband John,
Daleville; three grandchildren, Lindsay Baxter, Tulsa, OK, John N. Gwynne,
Lebanon, OH, Jared Gard, Dalton; six great grandchildren Christopher, Joshua,
Elijah, and Rebekah Gwynne, Judah Gard and Lola Baxter; a sister, Louise
Cronkey, Scranton; a brother, Edward Gard, Scranton; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
a daughter in law, Connie J. Gard; two brothers, George Gard and Harold Gard.
The funeral will be private
for the family. Interment will be held
privately in the Shady Lane Cemetery. There
will be no public calling hours.
