Kate L. Snyder, 32, a resident of Jessup, died at home Wednesday afternoon from
natural causes. She and her husband
Michael Snyder were married on May 21, 2005.
She was born in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of Nancy Reagin Parrott, husband Scott
Parrott, Conyers, GA, and Ed Peterson, wife Thea Peterson, Scranton.
She was a member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church and a graduate
of Scranton High School class of 1998. She
was employed by URS Corp. at Tobyhanna.
The love and light of her life was her daughter Haydon.
She enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, playing softball and was an avid
Atlanta Braves Baseball fan.
In addition to her husband and parents also surviving are a daughter, Haydon
Snyder; two stepchildren Carly Snyder and Christopher Snyder; grandmother,
Frances Hellenberg, Scranton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Aubrey Reagin Snyder, grandparents,
Edward and Sarah Peterson, John and Bobbie Reagin, Al and Mona Parrott, Howard
Hellenberg.
The funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Hickory Street
Presbyterian Church, 437 Hickory Street, Scranton, with services by the Reverend
Tom H. Collins, pastor. Those attending
the services are asked to go directly to the church.
Interment will be private.
