James W. Smith Jr.

James W. Smith Jr., 62, a resident of Scranton,
died early Wednesday morning in the Linwood Nursing Home.
He and his wife the former Carol A. Zelenski
would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on May 25th.
He was born in the Bronx, New York the son of
the late James W. and Mabel Green Smith Sr.
He
was a member of Hickory Street Presbyterian Church.
Also surviving are two daughters, Hypatia Smith
and Jahzeiah Smith; a son, Randy Smith; three brothers, Joseph Smith, Jeffrey
Smith, Robert Purdy; two sisters, Bertha Milewski and Barbara Jezorski; several
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angel
Smith; a son, James Smith III; a brother, John Wayne Smith, Sr.
